Upcoming Event

Tuesday, March 30, 2010, Noon-1 p.m.
Join us for lunch as two-time Emmy Award-nominated field correspondent for the National Geographic Channel, Mireya Mayor, Ph.D., describes the experiences that earned her the nickname, the "female Indiana Jones."
Relive with Mayor her inspiring life as daughter of Cuban immigrants, NFL cheerleader, Fulbright Scholar, field scientist, and
TV correspondent.
Mayor’s work with a newfound species of Microcebus, or mouse lemur, which she discovered on a 2000 field expedition, inspired the prime minister of Madagascar to establish a national park to help protect the new species, conserving the 10 percent that remains of the African island nation’s once-vast forest.
Bring lunch or pre-order by Friday, March 26.
Call (407) 836-7010 to reserve your seat!
Presented by Comerica Bank.
