Bioarchaeologist Dr. Rachel Wentz explains the vital role of trauma analysis in forensics and how forensic anthropologists assist law enforcement in solving homicides. Dr. Wentz holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from Florida State University and specializes in the analysis of human remains.
"Vietnam: Service, Sacrifice and Courage"
Wednesday, November 10, 2010, Noon-1 p.m.
Vietnam veterans Tom Crawford, Coy McDonald, Harry Manford, Paul Heagy, and Tom Waskovich join us for lunch and tell the untold stories of ordinary men and women who went off to war to fight and defend their country during the Vietnam War. They will also discuss their work on the documentary, “Vietnam: Service, Sacrifice and Courage,” a project of Florida Veteran’s Programs and Projects, Inc., that features poignant interviews with these same Vietnam veterans and pays tribute to the brave servicemen and women who fought in this war.
