Home School Programs
The History Center offers programs specially designed for Home School Students. Students can spend the day with their family and other Home School Students learning in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Participants will spend two hours at the History Center rotating through interactive, educational stations.

Home School Days feature:
  • Interactive curriculum
  • Hands-on activities
  • Make-and-take crafts
  • Guided exploration of museum galleries
  • Take-home packet for follow up


Native Peoples, Native Lands

Meet and learn from Native American peoples that shaped early Florida and influenced our modern communities. Members registration begins December 21, 2012. General registration begins January 5, 2013.

Tech Trek
Friday, April 5, 2013

Time travel through the 20th century and celebrate technological advancements. Member registration begins February 22. General registration begins March 9.

Program times start at 10 a.m. Participants MUST call to pre-register. Members free; students ages 5 and up $6; adults $4. Children ages 4 and under free. Includes admission to the History Center. Bring lunch to enjoy in Heritage Square.
