SunScreens Film Series featuring “Where the Boys Are”

Sunday, August 18, 2 p.m.

Four very different college girls drive to Fort Lauderdale for spring break and discover adventures and romance in the 1960 movie “Where the Boys Are.” The title song, “Where the Boys Are,” was sung by Connie Francis, who also appeared in the film. The movie inspired many American college students to head to Fort Lauderdale for their annual spring break, spurring an annual Florida rite of passage.

Our SunScreens Sunday matinees features films linked to Florida. We’ll supply the popcorn, along with fascinating facts about each film. There’s nothing like seeing a movie the old-fashioned way: with a group of fellow movie fans. The series is free for members! Popcorn and beverages will be provided.
