Join museum director Michael Perkins on the third Friday of the month as he reviews the seminal events that shaped Central Florida history from the Civil War to the present. The 1950s brought economic development and high-tech businesses to Central Florida. The area’s transportation network grew, tourists came by the hundreds of thousands, and Florida became internationally known as the land of sunshine.
