Thursday, January 18, 6 – 9 p.m. The History Center is open free to all
Starting in January 2018, the History Center will participate in the Third Thursday Gallery Hop, a popular downtown Orlando event featuring numerous galleries and non-traditional art venues. In keeping with our Things Come Apart exhibit, guests can check out our deconstructions of a pioneer coffee grinder and a modern single-serving brewer, plus grind their own coffee beans using pioneer coffee grinders and take home a Café Mocha kit to make a tasty cup at home.
The museum is open free to all visitors during the event.
Members enjoy cocktails and food at special discount!
Begin the Hop by purchasing a red wristband at the History Center and enjoy tasty food samples and two complimentary cocktails – one at the History Center and one at the Wall Street Plaza After Party, where the Gallery Hop concludes. Additional beverages are available for purchase. (Guests who buy a wristband at another venue, such as CityArts, receive their first complimentary cocktail there.)
Cost for the Hop: $8 for History Center members if purchased at the museum; $10 others.
Admission to the museum is free to all from 6 to 9 p.m.
