William Seyfried, Ph.D., joins us for our first event with an engaging discussion on the current state of the economy. A Rollins MBA Professor of Economics, Seyfried currently serves on the Econometrics Council of the Florida Chamber Foundation and was previously on the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors for the state of Arkansas.  He is an expert in the areas of macroeconomics, including the Fed and monetary policy, as well as on the interaction of the financial system with the economy. Seyfried has been published in various journals and textbooks and is regularly quoted in the media as an expert on economics.
