Historic Photos
The archival photo collection of the Historical Society of Central Florida was established, and is maintained, through donations from hundreds of individuals and companies. It contains more than 17,000 photographs and postcards documenting Central Florida history from the 1870s to the present. These photos depict people, buildings, businesses, streets, hotels, banks, churches, historic homes, cities, and sports.

Photocopies of materials are available for a small fee on a case-by-case basis. Reproductions of photos are also available. Prices vary. Please contact the photo archivist for more information.
The photo collection is housed in the Brechner Research Center on the fifth floor of the History Center and is free to the public by appointment. Contact our Collections Administrative Assistant, Madalyn Murphy, at 407-836-8581 or Madalyn.Murphy@ocfl.net.
