The History Center is looking for students aged 13-18 to join our Teen Council! As a member, you will help design a student exhibition, plan activities for our America 250 celebration, work virtually with other teens from museums nationwide, and more!
Meetings will be held January 2026 – May 2026. Specific meeting days and times will be chosen based on students’ availability.
Spring Semester applications are now open through January 12, 2026.

The Teen Council is part of the Smithsonian’s Democracy in Dialogue Virtual Exchange Program. As a Virtual Exchange Facilitator, the History Center will be matched with another museum so youth around the country can learn more about each other and their communities.
