By Heart and By Hand, is a powerful celebration of artistry, heritage, and community, showcasing the work of Black craft artists across Central Florida. Rooted in traditions passed down through generations, the special exhibition explores how contemporary makers draw on ancestral knowledge, family stories, and cultural practices to create works that are both deeply personal and widely resonant.
Featuring artists working in a variety of disciplines – from quilting and embroidery to woodcarving, soft sculpture, and traditional instrument-making – By Heart and By Hand invites visitors to experience craft as a living expression of identity and cultural memory. Each piece tells a story, illuminating the ways artists preserve the past while shaping new creative futures.
