The Orange County Regional History Center places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of our annual pass members and website users. This policy explains what types of information is collected by the Orange County Regional History Center, and how this information is used.

Annual Pass Member Privacy
The Orange County Regional History Center takes all reasonable steps to ensure the confidentiality of annual pass membership information and does not publish names of members without express permission. The Orange County Regional History Center also does not sell or provide its annual pass lists to third parties without express permission. However, The Orange County Regional History Center operates the Orange County Regional History Center through a contract with Orange County, Florida. Orange County has taken the position that The Orange County Regional History Center records are subject to Florida’s public records laws. As such, The Orange County Regional History Center cannot guarantee the confidentiality of annual pass members information if and when an open records request for such information is made.

Email Privacy
The Center does not provide, sell, or rent email addresses, annual pass member lists or other similar information to other organizations or businesses.

Credit Cards
The Orange County Regional History Center takes the issue of your credit card security seriously. We do not share your credit card information with anyone else. To protect the security of your credit card information, we employ the industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected
Orange County Regional History Center annual pass members, individuals who register for events, individuals who sign up to receive Orange County Regional History Center or Orange County Regional History Center e-communications voluntarily, or other individuals who provide us with contact information voluntarily, may receive periodic communications. We may use this information for specific, limited purposes including sending newsletters, announcements of upcoming events, and other items that we believe are of interest to you. You may always “opt out,” either now or at any time in the future if you do not wish to receive our messages.

TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY POLICY – GENERAL
