Third Thursday @ The Museum

Thursday, May 16, 2024, 5 – 9 p.m.

The History Center is open late on the third Thursday of each month with three hours of free admission. This is your opportunity to check out our latest pop-up exhibition, FIFA World Cup 1994, featuring a signed Republic of Ireland team photo, a Republic of Ireland jersey signed by manager Jack Charlton, and a soccer ball signed by members of the 1994 U.S. Men’s National Team. Join us at 6 p.m. for our inaugural Curator Conversation as the History Center’s curator of collections, Travis Puterbaugh, interviews Joanie Holzer Schrim. Internationally known for her leadership role in Orlando’s hosting of FIFA’s World Cup USA 1994, Schrim is also an award-winning author.

Third Thursday @ The Museum is part of a wider event at various downtown Orlando venues organized by the Downtown Arts District celebrating arts, culture, and history through art exhibitions, live performances, drink specials, and more. Visit 3rdThu.com for more information.
