May 30 – August 2, 2020
For the safety of our patrons, volunteers, and staff, and to create greater accessibility to our content, our fourth-year Pulse remembrance exhibition will be presented online.
On June 12, 2016, the Pulse Nightclub shooting claimed 49 victims and forever changed the lives of many more survivors, family members, and first responders, as well as the communities to which those individuals belonged. The outpouring of love and support in the wake of such tragedy linked profoundly personal histories together in unexpected ways. Each of these journeys, in many ways so different, converged in the early morning hours of that fateful day. Through this exhibition, we invite you to discover artifacts that serve as physical representations of these stories — some of struggle and loss and others of triumph and hope.
