The History Center houses a wide range of ongoing and special exhibitions. Explore four floors of fascinating history spanning 14,000 years across our seven-county Central Florida region! From ancient cultures to Civil Rights, and theme parks to exciting events happening each and every day, Central Florida is at your fingertips.

Ongoing exhibitions

Our permanent exhibits tell the fascinating stories of the diverse peoples who have called Central Florida home – from early indigenous Americans, Seminoles, and Spanish cattle ranchers to citrus growers, soldiers, astronauts, visionaries, entertainers including Walt Disney, and more. Please note: The "Discovering a Paradise" hall on the museum's fourth floor is temporarily closed for repairs. We appreciate your patience during this time.
